Payment
  • All equipment remains the property of Kings Catering Equipment until payment has been received in full and has been confirmed as cleared funds into the nominated bank account.
  • Kings Catering Equipment reserves the right to reposes equipment if not paid for in full such as entering the premises of which the equipment are believed to be located at.
  • Kings Catering Equipment requires the following before ordering equipment.
    • Quotation to be signed & dated & returned back to Kings Catering Equipment
    • 30% Deposit is needed before placing an order
    • 70% the balance is required to be paid for in full. All funds need to be cleared into king’s bank account before any equipment can be picked up or delivered.
    • All deliveries if required & organised by Kings Catering Equipment will need to be paid for in full before any equipment can be picked up or delivered.

    Kings Catering Equipment Gladly accepts the following forms of payment
    1. Credit Card - Visa, Master card, Amex (3% surcharge)
    2. Cash
    3. Bank Cheque (Same day pick up)
    4. Company Cheque (Three days till funds clear for pick up)
    5. Direct Money Transfer
    6. EFTPOS

E.T.A of Goods
  • As there are a number of manufacturers, Kings Catering Equipment cannot exactly allocate a specific time for each equipment to be delivered. Kings Catering Equipment will notify the purchaser an approximated time for the goods to be delivered/picked up as each case differs, it can range from immediate availability to delay up to 8 weeks.

Damaged Goods
  • Once equipment has been received and is damaged or faulty it’s the client’s responsibility to phone, e mail or fax Kings Catering Equipment immediately and let us know of the problem. All equipment must be inspected on delivery as damages will not be accepted after delivery. If client is picking up from Kings Showroom all equipment must be inspected by the client on pick up as Kings Catering Equipment does not take any responsibility on any damages caused on equipment transportation. This will need to be rectified with the transport company.
  • When contacting Kings Catering Equipment of the problem please have ready the tax invoice number, serial number, the model and brand of the equipment and a description of where the damage is or what is faulty. It’s easier and more efficient if you could send us a picture of the damage. You can fill out this form on our website or download it and fax it to Kings.
  • Download Warranty Form and email, or fax it back for prompt delivery service.

Warranty Policy
  • All standard equipment comes with the manufacturer’s warranty terms & conditions. The manufacturer’s warranty terms & conditions is located for each item of equipment on our website as each item differs.
  • If the equipment is out of warranty please contact Kings to arrange for a service in the clients expense.
  • It’s the client’s responsibility to have insurance for loss of stock & damage caused to equipment by external electrical faults.
  • We do not cover warranty if the equipment has been subject to misuse, neglect, alteration, incorrect installation, accident or to damage caused by transportation, use of abrasive chemicals, flooding, fire or acts of God.
  • Maintenance is required on every refrigeration equipment purchased, minimum once every six months by a Kings technician otherwise certain parts will not be covered under warranty. It’s the client’s responsibility to organise this service. If this service is contracted elsewhere without written approval from manufacturer the warranty will be void.
  • Consumable items are NOT covered under warranty e.g. Glass breakage, lights, heat lamps, door seals & shelves.
  • Warranty will be voided if equipment is not paid for in full as stated in Kings Quotation.

Delivery
  • Kings Catering Equipment can organise all deliveries if requested for the client, otherwise delivery can be organised by the client.
  • All deliveries organised by Kings Catering Equipment are a standard delivery to kerb side and it’s the client’s responsibility to notify Kings if the delivery involves lifting of the equipment, if there are any stairs, elevators, if the equipment won’t fit through the door, the time of delivery as the price will change and may require more than two men to complete this delivery.
  • Kings Catering Equipment always ensure efficient and prompt deliveries to the client and to do this we need to be notified if the following are needed as its not included in the standard delivery price so we can arrange it for you.
    • Installation & positioning of equipment
    • Unpacking of equipment
    • Removal of rubbish
    • Removal of old equipment
    • Insurance of equipment
  • If the above are required and have not informed Kings Catering Equipment then an extra charge to the client will incur as it is not included in the delivery price and can also cause delays.
  • Kings Catering Equipment always make sure that we deliver equipment on time as stated, however at the same time we cannot be liable if any deliveries are delayed as there is a third party involved and cannot guarantee delivery dates subject to transportation issues.
  • Download the Delivery Form and email, or fax it back for prompt delivery service.

When Purchasing Equipment the following Are Not Included in the Price:
  • Delivery
  • Installation & positioning of equipment
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical supply
  • Unpacking the equipment from their packaging e.g. crating
  • Removal of rubbish
  • Removal of old equipment
  • Remote motors for refrigeration equipment
