6/4/2009: 30% Tax Break for Small Businesses
The Australian Governement recently announced as part of the Economic Stimulus package its 30% Tax break for Small Business on all eligible capital equipment purchase made before 30 June 2009.
This is great news for restaurant and cafe owners as owning new equipment has never been so affordable.
As long as you install the equipment by 30 June 2010, you will receive 30c back for every dollar you spend. Thats a tax break of $30,000 if you spend $100,000 on new capital equipment purchases.
